Camp Friends

We are "remembering camp" this week.

This picture was taken in 1984.

It was my 4th grade cabin at His Hill camp in Kerville, Texas and I can still name every person in the picture. 

Camp ALWAYS meant new friends. It amazes me as I look back that in one or two weeks time you could gain NEW best friends. Today it seems like it takes years to develops bonds that only took hours when I was 10. What it is up with that?
