Be the Dough.

image from Baby Mac

“You, Lord, are our Father. We are nothing but clay but You are the potter that molded us.” Isaiah 64:6-8 (CEV)

I like my ways. I like my friends, my work, and my comforts. As I read this passage I realize I am not very good clay. I am clay that has been molded and baked. If dropped I would crack and most likely break. But I realize I need to be more like play dough that my kids get so excited for. There are so many possibilities with play dough. I need to let myself be enjoyed by God. I need to allow Him to shape me, fashion me in new ways, join me with different colors, and then I need to be willing to be made into a ball and have Him start all over again.

I am the play dough and He is the creator.
