{Day 27} Try

I try to be

the ideal mom.

the loving spouse

the creative employee

the supportive friend

I try not to be

discouraged

disappointed

frustrated

selfish

I try to be

joyful

prayerful

positive

spiritual

My trying doesn’t work. His way works.

Choosing Him first makes my tries possible.

His promises encourage me.

His creation changes me.

His love transforms me.

His trials remind me I am saved.

No matter how much I try it is only because of Him that I can fully feel

Cherished

Beautiful

Worthy

Captured

Treasured

Successful

Gifted

I try to choose Him first.

But some days I fail.

I am thankful His unfailing loves exists despite me.

“Help me, O Lord my God; save me in accordance with your love. Let them know that it is your hand, that you, O Lord, have done it” Psalm 109: 27
