Expect Awesome!

“For when you did awesome things that we did not expect, you came down, and the mountains trembled before you.”  Isaiah 64:3

Do you wake up every day expecting Him to do awesome things in your life? Or are you trying to do it on your own? He came down in the form of a baby to be with you, to come close to you, to fill that gap, to meet the expectations you hold over others. He came so that our relationship together as God and man could be restored. He wants us to spend eternity with Him not because of our acts but because our heart believes in Him. Are you expecting awesomeness from Him today?

It is easy for pessimism to rear its’ ugly head during the busy season. Be intentional about stopping it today. Pray this prayer: “God, I expect awesome things from you today” Amen.
