God, You are pretty ridiculous!

God, your means of orchestrating things is really unreal. I know you know that but I just had to say the way you worked this weekend blew me away.

Please share.

Well as you know we had been planning this weekend for months. There had been a few ideas in the works and we finally settled on a cabin setting rather than a more high energy and costly option. In fact we were given our spot to stay for FREE!

Pretty cool if I do say so myself.

We had no idea how the timing would line up with our situation right now and while we are not in panic state it is provisions such as those that ease my can be nervous heart.

You are welcome.

We ate, laughed, played, hiked, read, napped, but most importantly we enjoyed You through each other. We shared feelings, emotions, stories, joys, concerns, and prayer. For me it was much, much needed. There was a real me there that I hadn't seen in awhile.

Oh Carey, the type of fellowship you experienced exists more than you think it does. You simply have to ask and be open to it.

Easier said than done.

Your choice.

I hear you.

As the weekend went on there was one scripture ringing in me:
God, brilliant Lord, yours is a household name.

Nursing infants gurgle choruses about you;
    toddlers shout the songs
That drown out enemy talk,
and silence atheist babble.

I look up at your macro-skies, dark and enormous,
      your handmade sky-jewelry,
Moon and stars mounted in their settings.
Then I look at my micro-self and wonder,
Why do you bother with us?
Why take a second look our way?

Yet we've so narrowly missed being gods,
      bright with Eden's dawn light.
You put us in charge of your handcrafted world,
      repeated to us your Genesis-charge,
Made us lords of sheep and cattle,
even animals out in the wild,
   Birds flying and fish swimming,
whales singing in the ocean deeps.

God, brilliant Lord,
your name echoes around the world.

Psalm 8 (MSG)

I am so glad, so very glad you took the opportunity to take a time out and see how grand, how vast, how endless my arms stretch. I am here. As you learn and wait my heart beats with you.

We are listening.
